Podcast: EP 100 The Heart Knows the Way

Podcast: EP 100 The Heart Knows the Way

friends, we are at episode 100 on the podcast.

My heart is so full as I celebrate this “century” podcast episode. I felt prompted to start a podcast years before I did. But as I said in episode 1, imperfect action is how we get things done. To look back on the last 100 episodes, the last 3 years, and all the conversations this show has sparked is so joyful for me. Thank you for listening.

In this episode, I wanted to share 3 clips from past episodes that I especially loved as a celebration of what this show has created. First you’ll hear from my friend Kute Blackson, followed by my mentor Jack Canfield, and finishing up with a super special message from someone dear to me, the poet Mark Nepo. Here’s to the next 100 episodes friends — join me!

“We’ve talked about open hearts and dreaming bigger and mindset and growth – to sales and marketing and success to the heart work and relationships – the willingness to heal and expand.”

Podcast: EP 90 The Turned On Life with Kate Strong

Podcast: EP 90 The Turned On Life with Kate Strong

There’s another way to practice self-care.

I love my friend Kate Strong — ever since I first met her at a women’s event years ago, I’ve been drawn to her self-love, her power, and her understanding of what it means to really take care of yourself.

Here’s how Kate talks about her journey and her work: “Most of the problems you are experiencing arise from battles within. I’ve been through it: faith transition, heartbreak, divorce, depression, anxiety, and more. On my journey of self-love and healing, I have become a healer, shaman, life coach, certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and speaker. I am a guide who has walked the path to finding my true self, and from it has emerged a heart full of love, gratitude, perspective, and optimism. I want that for all. I am here to help.”

In this episode, Kate shares the key lessons that have transformed her life, her self-care, her work, and her love for herself. I know you’ll resonate with some or all of her story and be empowered to dive deeper into your own self-care as well.

“Asking myself led me to getting to know myself, which the end result of was loving myself.”

Podcast: EP 89 Harmony In the Holidays

I felt inspired to share some tips for the season.

I was invited a couple of weeks ago to share on my local TV station some tips for staying present and mindful during the holiday season. It was a perfect invite because I had already been thinking about this topic for myself, and I loved preparing and sharing some ideas on the show.

In this episode, I share some of my thoughts from the TV segment, as well as some extra nuggets that have helped me learn to make the most of the holidays, physically, mentally, and emotionally. My hope is that they support you in creating a holiday season that will nourish, inspire, and restore you this year.

“What are the pieces of the holidays that you love? Do more of that.”
